2014 MLL Protected Roster Evaluation: Florida Launch

The Launch began their quest to the Major League Lacrosse Playoffs after kicking off the 2015 season by releasing their 23 Man roster last week. No real surprises in their first roster of the season. Holding onto CP, McArdle, Cunningham, and Keogh, it seems the Launch are happy with the way their attack man have contributed to the team, and quite frankly it is a smart move. CP and Kieran made up the majority of the scoring in the Launch’s inaugural season. We should see a lot of the same next year, with McArdle having a year under his belt, coming into the season on time, he will be a factor all year long if the Launch are going to have success.

After being moved to Florida in a trade with Chesapeake, David Earl and Steven Brooks, remained on the roster as they seemed to fit well with the Launch. Along with them at the Midfield are; Jordan Hall, Chris LaPierre, Jon Hayes and Roman Lao-Gosney, as well as FO mid, Chris Mattes. Chris fared very well against a lot of quality FOGO’s.

Joe Cinosky, Turker Durkin, and Ricci return as starters to the Defense. Brett Queener remains on the roster with a list of other goalies. We’ll see if they go back to Queener for the season or part ways with the veteran, who may have hurt the Launch at times last season with his almost too competitive spirit.
