BILL Season Set to Start; Player Registration Open

The 2014 Baltimore Indoor Lacrosse League season is about to get underway in just a couple of weeks. The league, which is the home of six teams, hosts a variety of professional lacrosse talent. The league is run by former Baltimore Bombers director of operations Larry Fila.

The 2013 teams include First Mariner, Toyota, Parrot and Rebel, and this year the Vipers, and Kneebones are being added. First Mariner is the home of the 2012 MLL Championship Game MVP Ben Rubeor of the Chesapeake Bayhawks along with current Bayhawk JP Dalton.

Shaun Nadelon is another pro talent on the First Mariner roster after playing with the Philadelphia Wings of the NLL and Baltimore Bombers of the NALL. Andrew “Buggs” Combs was also a member of that Bombers club in 2013.

Parrot includes former Bombers players Jordan Kenney, Pete Cannon, Josh Rachman, Jeff Joy and Adam Miller. Will Harrington of the Wings and the Ohio Machine rounds out the roster. Joy was one of the top scorers in the NALL and Rachman an elite defender.

The Rebel bring in Team USA player Tucker Durkin along with Wings’ and Florida Launch star Jordan Hall. Durkin is coming off of a terrific performance in Denver with Team USA and will give Rebel one of the best defenses in the league. Dan Deckelbaum, a former Wing and Bomber, will also produce as a scorer. Ginny Capicchioni also returns in net as one of the elite American goaltenders in the game.

Finally, Toyota brings in former Stickhorses players George Castle and Patrick Crosby.
