Draft Grades: Colorado Mammoth

Grade: C+

Picks: Colton Clark, Alex Demopolous, Jaeden Gastaldo

The Mammoth had only three picks in this draft, making it kind of hard to give them a proper grade. It is lower just because of the lack of picks.

Both Clark and Demopolous are good lacrosse players. Clark has as much experience as anyone in the draft after playing with the Burnaby Lakers of the Western Lacrosse Association for the past two seasons.

Meanwhile, Demopolous saw some time with the Colorado Sabertooths of the Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association as Colorado was the most dominant team in the league by far. He also played with the Denver Pioneers in college where he was team mates with the top pick in the draft, Mark Matthews.

Demopolous played at the Pepsi Center for two of the Sabertooths games, which they both won. That team also had involvement with the Mammoth team president Steve Govett.

Jaeden Gastaldo of the Burnaby Lakers was also selected.

All of these players could see time as rookies, so overall, not a bad draft for Colorado only having three picks.
