Liberty to Move Up to MCLA Division One

At the annual SELC meeting in Atlanta on September 22, Liberty University’s transition from MCLA Division II to Division I was unanimously accepted in voting by the Southeast Lacrosse Conference. “There are 22 teams in Division I of the SELC and they all get a vote,” Flames head coach Kyle McQuillan said. “It’s a very big move for our program. MCLA Fall Ball: Wisconsin Tournaments

Alex Urquhart   The MCLA fall ball season is much harder o follow then the NCAA, most scores aren’t published other than on Facebook or over Twitter. The only advantage is if you know coaches players and organizers. The Madcity Tournament hosted by Wisconsin had both an MCLA bracket and a GLLL/ Men’s bracket. MCLA National Tournament to be Held in California

On Saturday August 10 the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association announced that the National Tournament will be held in Orange County, CA. In the press release newly elected MCLA President Ken Lovic stated that the first two rounds of games would be held at UC- Irvine University, while the semi- final and finals would be held at Chapman University. MCLA Executive Board Revises Presidential Pick

Earlier this summer the Men’s Collegiate Lacrosse Association’s sitting president, Tony Scazzero, stepped down mid- term.
