Sean Murphy Blog: Part Two

After starting the tournament 0-3, Ireland was hungry for a win, and we knew that our last 2 games would make a big difference in our chances to make it to the medal round.  Fortunately, as members of the highest ‘Blue’ division, we would essentially be playing down from the top while the teams in the other divisions were playing to earn their way up in the standings. But it…

The two games will be played on August 4th at 6:30 pm and August 5th at 2:30 pm. This won’t be the first time that the Outlaws face a non-MILA foe however. Last winter the…

NALL Off-Season Look-In

NALL slide
June 27, 2012

Things didn’t exactly go as planned in the first season of the NALL, but in the end six games were played and the league was launched. Centered around three main members, the Kentucky Stickhorses, Boston Rockhoppers, and Lehigh Valley Flying Dutchmen the league played three official league games, and three against non-NALL foes. Year one was the foundation, and they are hoping to build on that tremendously come year two….

Kevin Iwanusa Blog: USIL Devo Team vs the Voyageurs

As I write this its 4am Monday morning and I’m waiting for my flight back to Charlotte, a little early to say the least, but I have to work this morning and it’s not too strange of an occurrence for lacrosse players trying to maximize their chance to play at every opportunity. Especially indoor players, a high level box lacrosse game summertime in Charlotte doesn’t just find you. So myself…

Vincent Talbot Blog: Exhibition vs US Devo team

This past weekend the Vermont Voyageurs hosted the USA Developmental team. It was a good opportunity for some of our players to showcase what they can do in different situations. Hello again everyone. Sorry it’s been a few weeks; clearly a lot has gone on since my last blog as evidently we are now on a new/sexier In Lacrosse We Trust platform. (Thank you Hertz Gold Club – now please waive that $200 cleaning fee from…

Vincent Talbot Blog: Voyageurs Win Again

Flowers to my teammates It’s Monday already. I’ve got a pile of work to do, this blog to write and I have one day to recover before heading back to the gym. It’s a good life, especially when we are wining like we’ve been lately. The Voyageurs are 3-0-1 since the last 4 games coming out of a 1-0-1 weekend against the Injuns (Tie 10-10) and the Muskies (Win 17-9)….

Vincent Talbot Blog: Voyageurs Keep Rolling

June 11, 2012

It was a good weekend for the voyageurs. We won our two games, 12-9 and 14-10 respectively. It’s also the first time in our history that we are first in the league. It does not mean much for now as we are still fighting our way into the season with rivals that are strong and tough to beat. But, for those who have been with the team since the beginning,…
