Six Finalists announced for NLL Hall of Fame Class of 2012 Ballot

The National Lacrosse League has announced the six finalists on the ballot for the league’s Hall of Fame Class of 2012.  The ballot consists of five retired players and for the first time, a team. The players are Pat Coyle, Steve Dietrich, Chris Driscoll, Curt Malawksy & Regy Thorpe.  The team is the 1993 Buffalo Bandits, who are the only team in league history to go undefeated through a regular season and playoffs.  A…

In Lacrosse We Trust has learned through multiple sources that the Buffalo Bandits have named former NLL goalie Steve Dietrich the new general manager of the team. Dietrich played in the National Lacrosse League with the Baltimore Thunder, Detroit Turbos, Rochester Knighthawks, Buffalo Bandits, Calgary Roughnecks, Edmonton Rush and Toronto Rock. Last night it was reported by Teddy Jenner of IL Indoor that Buffalo Bandits head coach Darris Kilgour has been relieved of his general manager duties with the Bandits.
