Lizards Fall Again, Rattlers Win Second Straight

The Long Island Lizards just went from the hottest team in the leagu to clinging onto a playoff spot. After falling to the Rochester Rattlers on Friday night, they found the same fate last night, at home.

The Lizards are now tied for fourth in the MLL, with these Rattlers for that final playoff spot and are a game behind the Boston Cannons and Denver Outlaws. They also lead the Charlotte Hounds by one game.

Steven Boyle and Jordan MacIntosh each had the hat trick for the Rattlers, and they also got two goals out of Dan Hardy.

For Long Island, Stephen Peyser led with three goals and they got two out of Matt Gibson, Tommy Palasek, Albert Maione and Grant Catalino.

John Galloway gave up thirteen goals to the Lizards in the win and made twelve saves. Drew Adams gave up fifteen goals and made ten saves in this 15-13 Lizards final.

The Lizards play host to the Cannons next weekend, a big game for playoff implications, and the Rattlers will play the Bayhawks.
