NALL: Rockhoppers Take on Kingfish

Let’s take a minute to forget that Baltimore vs Kentucky was cancelled and all of the issues we have heard about and talk about the lacrosse on the field, shall we?

Tomorrow night the Boston Rockhoppers return home to play their New England rival Rhode Island Kingfish. Rhode Island, who sits at 0-3, have added two new offensive players in James Synowiez and Justin Otto from Baltimore to shore up their offense.

Boston won in Kentucky last week, taking advantage of 22 Stickhorses turnovers and taking over 60 shots for the victory. It’s easy to say the same gameplan for Boston would give them a victory over Rhode Island.

The Kingfish haven’t played in some time, so expect some rust from them. Boston meanwhile has been as hot as a team can get, not losing a game since week two. Mike Stone and Andrew Kirkaldy have emerged as stars in this league and they look to stay hot this week.

Vincent Talbot has become one of the best goaltenders in the league and is playing spectacular week in and week out since he became the starting netminder.

Craig Bunker against Timmy Fallon in the faceoff dot will be one of the most interesting matchups to watch, along with the two goaltenders Talbot and Rhode Island’s Joe Evans.

If the Kingfish can get off enough shots on net and limit their turnovers, they have a chance. If not, this could be another Boston steamroll.
