The NLL coaches and media conference call yesterday had some interesting notes about the statuses of players and injuries from around the league.
Knighthawks head coach Mike Hasen said that he will know more about Casey Powell tonight during practice and if he will play this weekend against the Buffalo Bandits.
With the Bandits, Billy Dee Smith will not play this week due to an injury he suffered at work. He missed both of the Bandits games this past weekend due to a suspension. His injury is an ankle sprain and he was placed on the PUP list for this week.
The Toronto Rock hope to know more about Damon Edwards’ injury this week. Terry Sanderson says he hopes it is not serious but they do not have a lot of information right now.
Meanwhile, we got it confirmed that Angus Goodleaf did indeed sign with the Knighthawks and they have released backup Jake Henhawk.
