NLL Power Rankings: Week Ten

1—(1) Colorado Mammoth (8-2)   In a battle of the division leaders.  After scoring six goals in the fourth quarter one week, Adam Jones was on fire scoring seven goals to push Colorado to a 14-13 win over New England. Callum Crawford (2G/8A) helped lead the high powered Mammoth offense.  Next Game: @ Calgary March 19 9pm.

2—(4) Buffalo Bandits (6-4)  Another big win for Buffalo as they travel west and defeat Vancouver 13-8.  Another step was taken for Dhane Smith (5G/3A) for league MVP.  Anthony Cosmo picked up the win stopping 42-50 shots faced.   Next Game: vs Rochester  Friday 7:30 p.m. 

3—(2) New England BlackWolves (5-3)   In a classic matchup, New England fell just short 14-13 to Colorado.  Kevin Buchanan and Jordan Hall each had three goals while Shawn Evans had (2G/4A).  Kevin Crowley was held with no goals but did have six helpers. Blackwolves look for a big win this weekend to hold onto first place.  Next Game: @ Rochester Saturday 7:30pm.  

4—(3) Saskatchewan Rush (5-3)   Rush are in back in action this weekend after having a bye last week.  Next Game: vs Georgia  Saturday  9:30 p.m.

5—(6) Rochester Knighthawks (4-4)   A huge overtime win for the Knighthawks 9-8 over Calgary.  Cody Jamieson led the way (4G/3A),  But it was the Dangerous one Dan Dawson (2G/4A) with the game winner.  Matt Vinc was strong in goal stopping 46-54 shots.  HUGE weekend as the Knighthawks play two and could gain first place.  Friday night @ Buffalo 7:30pm, return home Saturday and host the Blackwolves 7:30pm

6—(5)  Georgia Swarm (4-5) Will look to get back on track after the bye wee, as they face last seasons champions..   Next Game: @ Saskatchewan  Saturday 9:30 p.m.

7—(7) Vancouver Stealth (3-6)  Dropped another game 13-8 to Buffalo. Fell behind early 6-1 after first and 10-4 at the half and could never catch up.  Billings and Duch combined for 1 goal.  Next Game: @Toronto  Sunday 3pm.

8—(8) Calgary Roughnecks (3-7)  Seems like the same thing every week…another OT loss.  This time they fall to Rochester 9-8. That’s three straight losses in OT.  Curtis Dickson led the offense with four goals.  Calgary looks to regroup as they come east to face a Rock team that is starting to get on a roll.  Next Game: @ Toronto Friday 8pm. 

9—(9) Toronto Rock (2-6)   Coming off a bye week and carrying a two game winning streak, the Rock can put themselves back in playoff contention by sweeping this weekends match-ups with some home cooking. Next Game(s): Friday vs Calgary 8pm.,  Sunday vs Vancouver   3pm.
