NLL Teams Franchise Players for 2014

Today National Lacrosse League free agency opened and with it, teams began to franchise their players. Below is a list of who was franchised.

The Bandits made no surprise moves by franchising their longest tenured player in John Tavares, while Philadelphia franchised their goaltender and top defender Brodie Merrill. There were also no surprises with Calgary franchising faceoff man Geoff Snider and Toronto franchising their captain Colin Doyle.

If there were any surprises it may have been the Mammoth keeping Casey Powell and the Stealth franchising Lewis Ratcliff, but even those are not terribly surprising moves.

Buffalo: John Tavares
