One on One: James Synowiez, Baltimore Bombers

The Baltimore Bombers open their 2013 campaign this Saturday when they travel to Boston to face the Rockhoppers. I caught up with James Synowiez about how training camp has been going and his thoughts on the opener.

On Training Camp:

Training camp has been nothing less than exciting. Men of all ages putting their best effort forward, from recent college grads to NLL veterans it has been a great experience. Were very fortunate to have NLL veteran captains and assistants in Dan Marohl, Shawn Nadalen, and Damien Davis leading us in the right direction.

On Who Has Stood Out:

Physical play has been on display each session from each of our defensemen. Josh Rachman and Jack Lingo always make you earn each opportunity. Our forwards continue to push it to the limit scoring some highlight reel goals as well as working together and grinding on our tough d guys. Jeff Joy has shown his Aussie ability to net some outside lazers while Matt Hickman and Justin Otto are finishing consistently in tight. Dan Deckelbaum’s athletic ability is second to none as well as Tamberino dominating the faceoff x.

On Chemistry:

With the short lead up to the season one would think each team would struggle to create team chemistry on such short notice, but many players have played together previously and guys are really meshing well together.

On Expectations:

Our expectations for the season are simple: to put our best foot forward each game and to be crowned NALL champs come spring.
