The Colorado Mammoth went into the 2013 season with a tough goaltender situation, with veteran Chris Levis coming in as the starter and Matt Roik as the backup. Over the weekend we had a number of games, including a top 15 match- up between Cal Poly and UC- Santa Barbara. This past week was the first real weekend with a substantial number of games. Although their team was defeated by Durham, the fans were treated to some great lacrosse in the Niagara Lock Monsters home opener Sunday night. 537 people took in the inaugural game at the Seymour Hannah Centre in St. Catherine’s Ontario, a good turnout for the city’s first CLax game.
