Jerry Ragonese Acquired by Hounds

Yesterday the Charlotte Hounds acquired faceoff specialist Jerry Ragonese from the Long Island Lizards. Last night I spoke to Jerry about the move. “I am really just excited to be playing again.” said Ragonese.  “Just getting an opportunity to help them at the X is a good enough for me. “ Ragonese will likely be the Hounds primary faceoff guy for the next two weeks, before Geoff Snider comes home…

Minnesota has seen great growth in recent years when it comes to lacrosse, with the Minnesota Swarm helping to spread the word. The question some have been asking is whether that growth is enough to support two lacrosse teams, a NLL team in the Winter and an MLL team in the summer. Ohio Machine Moving in Right Direction Year One

Yesterday I examined the first season for the expansion Charlotte Hounds, and today it is time to look at the Ohio Machine. The Machine have had a very rough season, as they are 2-8 and in last place in Major League Lacrosse. They have the third worst goals for in the league and they have allowed the second most, behind fellow expansion team Charlotte. One thing that surprised me was…

Somebody told me it was around 40 Celsius (104 Fahrenheit) Saturday when we started the game and it pretty much stayed as hot for the entire weekend. With a win on Saturday or Sunday we would have clinched first place in the QSLL. Unfortunately we…
