We haven’t even seen the 2015 NLL rosters yet, but it’s interesting to take a look at how teams might look AFTER this season. We’ve been tracking every player transaction of each NLL player, so we know who will be free agents when. That allows us to take a look at each roster and how it may look in 2016.
This is assuming no cuts this preseason and only looking at rosters as they are right now.
Notes: Edmonton seems to be the most prepared team as far as locking up big stars. Most every team has locked up all of their goalies long term, showing how important it has become to have two strong ‘keepers. Calgary will need to re-sign a lot of their players next year, including Curtis Dickson as an RFA. A lot of their good talent becomes available. Edmonton has been very focused on the future, with nine draft picks in the deepest draft in possibly the history of the league.
