The Calgary Roughnecks today announced the National Lacrosse League club has re-signed goaltender Frankie Scigliano to a multi-year contract, pending league approval.

Scigliano, a native of Coquitlam, British Columbia, has spent the last four seasons with the Roughnecks.  During the 2015 campaign he started 13 of 18 regular season games, posting an 11.12 goals-against average and a .773 save percentage over 734 minutes played.  Calgary selected the 23-year-old goaltender in the second round, 18th overall, in the 2011 NLL Draft.

“Frankie has shown consistent development and improvement in his game and we believe he will continue to do so in the future,” said Roughnecks general manager Mike Board.  “He stepped in last season and demonstrated he can be a starter in the NLL. We are happy to come to a multi-year agreement with Frankie, keeping him in the Roughnecks fold.”
