Rush Sign Mydske for Three Years

According to NLL.com, the Edmonton Rush have signed defenseman Brett Mydske to a three year deal. The deal comes after a 2014 season where Mydske was part of a historically good defense that led the Rush to the top record in the league.

In his five year career, Mydske has emerged as one of the best defensive players in the game, especially on an Edmonton unit that includes Chris Corbeil and Kyle Rubisch.

The defender has a career 120 points and 295 loose balls, his career high coming in 2013 when he scooped 72. He has also forced 82 turnovers in his career (since they started being tracked at least) and has 120 penalty minutes.

Once again Edmonton looks like a strong team in the west with their entire defense returning in 2015, and their offense just getting better. The trio of Mydske, Rubisch, and Corbeil is arguably the best in the league on the back end.
