STX Announces Search For Top Female Athletes For First Ever Elite Level Women’s Lacrosse Team

Baltimore based STX, LLC, a global sporting goods leader, today announced that they are looking for three top female athletes to be a part of the first ever elite level women’s lacrosse team. The top applicants will be selected as team captains for STX’s new women’s lacrosse team and will be featured in an original web-based series, “Love For the Game”.

The selected winners will live, work and play in Baltimore. “Love For the Game” will follow the athletes on their journey to train and prepare to lead the elite team during their inaugural season. In their role as team captains, the winners will help STX organize and recruit for tryouts, set up the season schedule and design uniforms for the team. They will also get the chance to work with STX and may appear in advertisements and media opportunities. The winners will live together in Baltimore in housing provided by STX.

With the help of the team captains, STX will hold tryouts early Summer 2013 for the women’s lacrosse team.

Applicants must be recent female college graduates who played lacrosse in college, and who are no longer eligible to play NCAA sports.
