Voyageurs Sweep Series Against Phoenix, Move to QSLL Finals

The Vermont Voyageurs need just one more series win to advance to the Presidents Cup and represent the Quebec Senior Lacrosse League.

Greg Rogowski scored the double overtime sudden victory game winner for Vermont as they took down the Montreal Phoenix and will now head to face the Kahnawake Mohawks in the QSLL finals.

Rogowski scored four of the ten Vermont goals on the night. The Voyageurs also saw scoring from Brandon Dube, who had three goals. They got single goals from Dan Deckelbaum, David McCarthy and Ethan Farrell.

Vincent Talbot played all seventy two minutes in net where he made thirty seven saves and let in just nine Montreal goals.

The Mohawks are the defending champions of the league and will host this series against Vermont, now a best of five series. The winner of this series will represent the QSLL in the Senior B tournament, the President’s Cup.
