Wolverines Put Year One Struggles Behind Them

Michigan, who was 1-13 last season, needs some improvement with the defense AND the offense. Last year we saw that the Wolverines were not consistent with getting wins.

Last year Michigan took a leap of faith and expanded their team in the Division One program. Michigan struggled with experience. They had 26 underclassmen 17 freshman and 9 sophomores. They need to be molded into a scoring machine team. Michigan had played the 34th most difficult schedule and struggled.

Even though their record shows that there only won one game. They showed tenacity even though they did not have the talent nor the experience as other schools, they played their hearts out. Their first and last team that had beaten was Mercer. Last year was Michigan first season in Division One.

This season expectations are a little high. Improvements that they need to fix are the turnovers. Turnovers are a killer in this sport. It takes away the momentum that the team has. They need to recruit more experience and mold the players into a sufficient and prolific team. The Wolverines was second worst with clearing the beam. This year shall be different. I look forward watching this team control their destiny and their growthwithin the Division. With youth, they have a chance to become one of the elite teams in thenation.
