CLax Three Stars Week 4: Burke Shines Brightest

This week’s Canadian Lacrosse League three stars of the week are in, and two of them come from the Cyclops following their victory this week.

Third Star- Dan Keane- Southwest Cyclops- Dan Keane continued his impressive rookie CLax season, netting a hat trick and adding three assists in the 12-9 win over the Niagara Lock Monsters on Saturday. For the second time this season, the Elora, ON native was named CLax Rookie of the Week.


Second Star- Jesse Guerin- Durham Turfdogs- Jesse Guerin tallied a hat trick while chipping in with five helpers in Durham’s 14-10 win over Barrie this past Sunday. The Peterborough,ON native’s 12 points in three games is good enough for second in the CLax scoring leaders.

First Star- Mike Burke- Southwest Cyclops- Mike Burke had a monster game finding the back of the net twice while dishing out seven assists for nine points in the Cyclops 12-9 victory over the Lock Monsters. The 24-year-old leads CLax in scoring with 13 points.
