ALL: Steelhawks get first win

Week seven of Arena Lacrosse League action saw the defending champion Whitby Steelhawks finally get their first win of the season, a close 11-9 triumph over the Paris RiverWolves. Whitby and Paris played each other closely until the third quarter when Whitby found a spark for a four-goal run. ALL: Week 6 sees Shockwave retain first place

After six weeks of Arena Lacrosse League play, the St. Catharines Shockwave are still at the top of the standings with a 5-0 record. The Peterborough Timbermen and Toronto Monarchs are in second place with 4-1 and 4-2 records, respectively. The Shockwave were able to retain their lead despite having a bye week.
