MLL Three Stars: Schuss Leads the Show

This week’s all stars include two Team USA players and one MLL all star. Logan Schuss doubled his point total while John Galloway stood on his head and Stephen Berger brought his team a win.

Number One: John Galloway, Rochester Rattlers

Galloway is consistently been one of the best goalies in Major League Lacrosse for the past four seasons. he has stepped it up to another level this season as he has led the Rattlers to a second place tie in the standings. Galloway made 21 saves in the Rochester win over the Chesapeake Bayhawks.

Galloway shut out the Bayhawks for two overtimes and held them to just one goal in the fourth quarter. He played for over 74 minutes in the double OT win.

Number Two: Logan Schuss, Ohio Machine

Schuss made the all star roster over Will Manny by a tiny margin. Considering how well he played against the Cannons this week, it might be a bit easier to take. Those points double his point production on the season, getting him to 16. His first goal didn’t come until a minute left in the second quarter, but his three goals in the second half helped keep the Machine in the game despite a 17-16 loss.

Number Three: Stephen Berger, Boston Cannons

Stephen Berger has made a world of difference for the Boston Cannons offense when he is on his game. He led the team in scoring with six points this week in their 17-16 win over Ohio. Four of his six points were goals, including the game tying goal in the fourth before the game winner from Ryan Boyle. The six points brought his total for the season to 15.
