NLL Power Rankings: Week Three

1—-Philadelphia Wings 2-0 (Last Week #3)

This American style field team has done it again!! They go into the unfriendly confines of the ACC and defeat the Rock 8-7 in a very well played game, with standout performances from both Brandon Miller and Nick Rose. This was Philadelphia’s third straight win in Toronto dating back to last season. Heads are starting to turn in the NLL.

2—-Toronto Rock 2-1 (Last Week #1)

Fall to the Wings 8-7 in a very well played game after two big road wins. Goaltender Nick Rose played an outstanding game, keeping the Rock in the game til the final 10.9 seconds. The Rock look to get back on track this weekend.

3—-Buffalo Bandits 2-1 (Last week #4)

Typical Bandits/Knighthawks game. Both teams having there run of goals until three of the final four scored by the Bandits to win 14-13, and send the defending champs to 0-2

4—-Washington Stealth 2-1 (Last week #2)

Suffered their first loss of the season 18-10 to the Rush. Stealth were outplayed the entire game. Chance for redemption this weekend.

5—-Edmonton Rush 1-1 (Last Week #8)

What started as a close game became a runaway in the fourth quarter as the Rush outscored the Stealth 6-2 for an 18-10 win.

6—-Colorado Mammoth 1-1 (Last Week #9)

Led by Grant Jr’s six goals, the Mammoth battled back with a four goal barrage in 2:57 then win in overtime.

7—-Minnesota Swarm 0-1 (Last Week #7)

Idle this past weekend. This young team gets another test this weekend.

8—-Rochester Knighthawks 0-2 (Last Week #6)

Defending champs seem to be struggling right now, as they fell to the Bandits after raising there 2012 Champions banner. It was an up and back game, but the Hawk defense allowed 3 of the final 4 goals in defeat.

9—-Calgary Roughnecks 0-2 (Last Week #5)

Gave up a four goal lead in 2:57, and fell in OT to Colorado. This well balanced team is now very UN-balanced as they are 0-2 at home as they go on the road this weekend.
