NLL Three Stars: Week Two

Week two of the NLL season has come to an end now that every team in the league has seen at least one game of action. Only Rochester had this week off, so we had plenty of options for our three stars.

Nick Rose- Toronto Rock

Nick Rose currently leads the league with two wins and 89 overall saves. It is early and he is on one of two teams to play two games so far, but he faced a tough offense in Calgary and came out with a win on Saturday. He also faced the western champion Edmonton on the road Sunday. A pretty impressive week for the young goalie.

Jordan Hall- Philadelphia Wings

Hall, who appealed a suspension to play in this game, picked up six assists on the Philadelphia win against Buffalo on Friday night. In his first game in a Wings uniform he had three first priority assists. He also scored a goal and picked up six loose balls in the victory.

Dhane Smith- Buffalo Bandits

Dhane Smith had quite a weekend for a rookie, scoring four goals with two assists and four loose balls along with a forced turnover. Maybe some other players had better weeks, but he helped Buffalo win a game and was a bright spot in their loss on Friday night. Bandits fans should be excited about this young player.
