Three Stars of the MLL Season: Offense

Normally at this time of the week, we bring you our weekly MLL three stars of the week. But with the regular season over, we want to bring you the three stars of the entire season.

Sure, the best of the best could all be scorers. But is that fair for the goalies? Or the face-off men? Let’s take a look at the three stars of the league, position by position.

Number Three- Kyle Dixon, Chesapeake Bayhawks

Dixon is the catalyst of the Bayhawks offense, who leads the league in two point goals. Leading the way for the Hawks is Dixon with an amazing fifteen. That’s more than most teams have overall in a season. Dixon is fourth in the league in points, and had twenty one overall goals on the season. How he matches up with the Cannons during Championship Weekend will be very interesting.

Number Two- Brendan Mundorf, Denver Outlaws

A case could be made for Mundorf as the most valuable player in the league, but when it comes to offensive three stars, it is hard to argue with the most points scored ever. Still, Mundorf molded the Outlaws offense that was one of the best in the league, and without him, they might not have been the top seed.

Number One- Paul Rabil, Boston Cannons

Rabil didn’t just score the most points in the league this season. He scored the most points in a season EVER. If this was a three stars of all time, he would come out on top. This was a year for the record books and will live on forever.
