Last night the Colorado Mammoth defeated the Vancouver Stealth by a score of 13-12. After the game we caught up with some of the stars of the game for the Mammoth.
John Grant Jr. had a five point night for the Mammoth to lead them along with five points from Drew Westervelt. Four of Grant Jr.’s points were assists and he also picked up four loose balls.
Meanwhile, Adam Jones won himself the star of the game and scored a hat trick along with an assist. Jones scored the game winning goal and added an insurance goal as well in the fourth quarter. His other goal came late in the third.
Dillon Ward did not start for the second straight game, but he came into the game in the second quarter and allowed eight goals on 38 shots. His 11.7 goals against average on the night earned him his first NLL win.
Lastly, we caught up to the head coach Bob Hamley to discuss the Mammoth’s first win of the season.
