Calgary Roughnecks Mission 2015, Champion’s Cup

Last season Calgary came into Rochester up 1-0 in the Finals.  Game 2 was as close as it can get for 45 minutes as Calgary was only down by a goal.  All that was needed was the Roughnecks to win the final quarter by two goals to hoist the Champion’s Cup.  But Rochester put up six goals to win 16-10, tying the series at a game each, forcing the mini-game….

Swarm Sting Hawks 14-8 in Pre-Season Opener

In what has become an annual event, the three-time defending champion Rochester Knighthawks fell to the Minnesota Swarm 14-8 in front of 10,073 fans at The Blue Cross Arena.  Tickets for the game were free on a first come first serve basis, just as they did in the past 3 years for the pre-season game.
