Fann Cup 2013 Review

The 2013 Fann Cup has come to an end. And as usual, a great time was had by all.  Not only was the water, Gatorade, soft drinks, and other adult beverages poured, but the sweat poured from every player in this lacrosse tournament as they raised money in memory of Tyler Kopp.  The totals for the weekend will not be known for a few weeks.

2013 Fann Cup Preview

The NLL season may be over, but that doesn’t stop over 200 fans getting together annually for a lacrosse tournament known as FANN CUP. This years host will be the city of Rochester and the Rochester Krewhawks fans of the 2012-13 Champion Rochester Knighthawks. This yearly event started back in 2002 with 2 teams. Evaluating the Stealth Move to Vancouver

As the Stealth franchise approaches its 15 year anniversary it will have a new home.  The Vancouver Stealth will open the 2014 season in the Langley Event Center in Langley BC.  The past few seasons the NLL has had some pre-season games in Langley, and this past season the Champions Cup was moved there as the Stealth’s arena was already booked.

Lacrosse Warrior Kyle Miller Passes Away

On June 28, 2012 the lacrosse world lost a great man, Chris Sanderson.  Now on Jun 8, 2013 (345 days) later we mourn the passing of another.  Kyle Miller passed away at the very young age of 31 after a long battle with Osteosarcoma cancer.
