On opening night of the 2019 World Indoor Lacrosse Championship, Team USA (0-1) fell hard to Canada (1-0) 16-6. Kieran McArdle and Blaze Riorden were the only goal scorers with three each. MLL: Bayhawks take both ends of home-and-home with Lizards

Last weekend the Chesapeake Bayhawks took both ends of a crucial home-and-home matchup versus the New York Lizards. The Virginia Cavaliers (17-3) defeated the Yale Bulldogs (15-4) 13-9 in front of 31,528 fans at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia to capture their sixth National Championship on Monday, their first since 2011.
