For the second time this season the Chesapeake Bayhawks take on the Hamilton Nationals. The teams will face-off at Ron Joyce Stadium in Hamilton, Ontario on Saturday, June 29that 7:00 pm.
The two teams met previously on June 1st with Hamilton edging out an overtime victory by the score of 12-11 at Navy-Marine Corps Stadium. Coming off of consecutive losses to Charlotte and Denver, Chesapeake needs to regain momentum to keep their play-off hopes alive.
Chesapeake looks to take sole control of 3rdplace in the league, with only 6 games remaining in the season, with a win over Hamilton. There are only 4 spots in the play-offs, so these last games are crucial for the Bayhawks. An away win for Chesapeake could be exactly what they need to go into championship weekend strong. The Bayhawks are 1-3 in their last four games after starting out the season at 3-0.
Their recent tailspin began with an overtime loss in Boston, and last week they lost again in overtime to Charlotte.
