In Canadian Lacrosse League pre season action yesterday afternoon, we saw wins come from the Barrie Blizzard, Ohsweken Demons and Iroquois Ironmen.
The first win came when the Blizzard downed the Durham Turf Dogs by a score of 19-11. Mike Vertolli led the Blizzard with three goals while Mike Teeter had two. Scott Defrancesco had four goals for Durham in the loss.
Tyler Patterson and Spencer Janes each also had two goals for the Blizzard. Barrie scored four straight at the end of the game to lock up the victory.
The Demons and Ironmen both faced off against the Upstate Bears of the Midwest Indoor Lacrosse Association and they both picked up wins in the multi league exhibition. Ohsweken won 11-4 while Iroquois won 14-12. Upstate had faced the Turf Dogs in an exhibition game in early December, where they lost in that contest as well.
The Brampton Inferno and Toronto Shooting Stars faced off today, so look for a full recap of that game tomorrow.
