According to Quint Kessinich of Inside Lacrosse, the Charlotte Hounds have traded for face off man Geoff Snider.
Snider, largely thought of as the best face-off man in lacrosse, will help the Hounds immensely. Their Achilles heel all season has been in the face off dot.
For Snider, they send the Hamilton Nationals a third round draft pick, Cameron Lao-Gosney and Brian Neufeld.
The Nationals have struggled all year, so them trading big chips is not a surprising move. The Hounds have now won two games in a row, and are fighting for a playoff spot. To fix a glaring need like this puts them in a much better position.
Stay tuned for more updates on this big trade and what it will mean for the Hounds in their fight to make it to Championship Weekend.
