This event will allow prospects to showcase their talents in an effort to secure a spot on one of the league’s five teams. The day will begin with combine testing, followed by a controlled scrimmage with the draft to follow.
The full day schedule is as follows:
5 p.m. – 5:30 p.m.: Warm up/drills for players
5:30 p.m. – 6:30 p.m.: Combine Testing
6:30 p.m. – 7:30 p.m.: Controlled Scrimmage
8:00 p.m.: Draft begins
CLax Executive Vice-President & Director of Lacrosse Operations, Jeff Dowling said, “The CLax Combine and Draft marks the official kick off to the 2015 season. We have a number of excellent players from all over Canada and the United States registered to participate, and all of the coaches are eager to see the new elite talent eligible for 2015.”
The combine and scrimmage will be coached by members of CLax coaching staffs. Deadline to register for the Draft is Friday, November 21 at midnight. Draft registration can be found on the league website. It is not required to attend the combine to be eligible for the Draft. Because of limited roster spots available at the combine, CLax will take the first 100 players who have registered.
