The Iroquois Ironmen (0-3) will look to register their first win of the 2013 CLax season when they travel to St. Catherines to take on the Niagara Lock Monsters (3-2).
The game marks the second meeting between the squads, with the previous match-up resulting in a 22-13 road victory for the Lock Monsters.
Leading the Lock Monsters thus far has been Corey Fowler. The forward leads Niagara in scoring with 32 points on the year, including a seven point performance in last night’s win over the Ohsweken Demons. Fowler was one of a trio of Lock Monsters to register seven points in defeating the Demons, as Brad Favero and Garrett Ball each went 4-3 on the night.
Chris Attwood and Josh Johnson have been rare bright spots for the Ironmen this season, as they are currently the only Iroquois players to reach the double-digit point barrier.
Face-off for tonight’s game is set for 8:05 p.m. at the Seymour-Hannah Centre. The Ironmen will end the week with a home game against the Brampton Inferno on Friday, while the Lock Monsters will close out the week with a Sunday afternoon game against the Barrie Blizzard.
