Grasby had a career game totaling an impressive 10 points en route to a 14-13 victory over the Iroquois Ironmen. The former Halton Hills Bulldog netted a hat-trick while adding seven assists. The double digit night brings Grasby’s total to 15 good enough for ninth league scoring.
2nd Star: Scott Defrancesco – Durham Turfdogs
Defrancesco filled the net at the Iroquois Lacrosse Arena Sunday afternoon as the former Coquitlam Adanac found the back of the cage seven times. Defrancesco also recorded an assist to give him eight points on the day.
3rd Star: Angus Dinely – Toronto Shooting Stars
Dinely continued his solid play between the pipes as he shut down 38 of 48 shots to pick up his second win of the year as the Shooting Stars defeated the Barrie Blizzard 18-10. Dinley leads all CLax goaltenders in goals against average (7.87) and save percentage (.838) in 160 minutes of play.
