The Canadian Lacrosse League honours the top players of the week in the following four categories as voted on by members of the league office as well as coaches and general managers throughout the league. These players have been nominated as a result of their performances in the four games in week seven, ended February 24th.
Offensive Player of the Week:
Derek Hopcroft (Toronto Shooting Stars)
This past week Derek Hopcroft registered seven points including three goals and four assists in the Shooting Stars one goal loss to the Ohsweken Demons. He currently ranks 15th in CLax scoring with 22 points in six games (11G, 11A).

Ryan Campbell (Brampton Inferno) – 1GP, 4G, 3A, 7PTS
Delby Powless (Ohsweken Demons) – 1GP, 3G, 3A, 6PTS
Defensive Player of the Week:
Jay Preece (Brampton Inferno)
This past week Jay Preece recorded 50 plus saves for the second consecutive game as the Brampton Inferno defeated the Iroquois Ironmen 12-10 on the road. This season Preece has posted a 3-2 record with a 13.62 GAA and .772 save percentage.

Connor Daly (Toronto Shooting Stars) – 1GP, 1G, 2A, 3PTS
Transition Player of the Week:
Russell Poulton (Durham TurfDogs)
Durham Turfdogs Russell Poulton registered a career high four points adding two goal and two assists in the TurfDogs 15-7 victory over the Barrie Blizzard. In six games this season, Poulton has already doubled his numbers (3G, 5A) from his rookie season (4A) in 2012.

Rookie of the Week:
Connor Danko (Niagara Lock Monsters)
Niagara rookie goaltender Connor Danko improved to 3-0 on the season after registering a career high 48 saves in the Lock Monsters 21-5 victory over the Barrie Blizzard. He now leads the league with an 8.39 GAA and .837 save percentage. Danko received Week 6 CLax Defensive Player of the Week.
