Dinley, Buchanan Released from NLL Teams

As the NLL CBA is close to being resolved, we are starting to see some transactions being made in the lacrosse world. The Philadelphia Wings released backup goaltender Angus Dinley. Dinley played in one game last season due to the suspension of starter Brandon Miller. However, the Wings return with Miller and now also Evan Kirk and recent draftee Don Alton, so there is not much room left for Dinley.

The Vancouver Stealth released Kyle Buchanan as well. Buchanan was a rookie last season and played in nine regular season games and one playoff game. In his first NLL season, Buchanan had 22 points, 18 of them assists as the Stealth made it to the NLL Championship game.

Meanwhile, the Calgary Roughnecks released Aaron Pascas. Pascas had formerly been a member of the Toronto Rock before he was traded to the Roughnecks two years ago. The lefty shooter had seven points in six games last season, and in 2011 with Toronto he scored 23 points in 14 games.
