The Roughnecks already were a pretty solid team, with the goaltender of the year, some solid defensive players and a very good offense. They could have used someone to set some picks and create some space (ahem Carter Bender), but overall they got some pretty good players in the draft last night.
They had their eyes on Dinsdale for a while, so it was no surprise that they selected him. Joe Resetarits may have been a little bit of a stretch, some expected him to drop out of the first round, but he is still a solid offensive player.
After that, the quality of their draft went down a little bit. Decker is a good right handed shot and could have some impact as well, but after that for Calgary it was just the usual late round picks.
