Not a ton of action going on in the world of Fall Ball in NCAA lacrosse, but a few games of note took place and  few stories.
First off, the Syracuse Orange played an exhibition game with the Syracuse alumni, and won 14-9. Derek Maltz led Syracuse with four goals. Leading the alumni with two was Tommy Pasalek.
Other pros to play in the game for the alumni was Mike Levielle, Kevin Drew, Brett Bucktooth and Joel White.
It is the third straight season that the Syracuse team has beaten their alumni. John Galloway of the Rochester Rattlers was in net for the alumni team.
Bobby Wardwell led the Orange in net. He made seven saves before they entered Dominic Lamolinara. Redshirt freshman Ben Romoagnoli also saw some time.
Derek DeJoe also scored two goals for the Orange. It was the only Syracuse exhibition game of the fall.
Meanwhile, Notre Dame put up a 14-3 beating on the Navy Midshipmen. Joey Kemp was extremely solid in net, and according to Inside Lacrosse he made eight first half saves.
