Cody Jamieson – Six Nations Chiefs – Rochester Knighthawks
Cody Jamieson will be looking to capture his first ever Mann Cup to go along with his NLL Championship ring that he won as a member of the Rochester Knighthawks this past season. Jamieson has had an outstanding post season to date, scoring 39 points (19G, 20A) in nine games for the Chiefs. If Jamieson can be a consistent threat through the entire series, he could easily be the difference maker.
Jeff Shattler – Victoria Shamrocks – Calgary Roughnecks
The Brampton, ON native had a less then productive regular season but has turned it up a notch in the post season, leading his team in points with eight goals and 26 assists in nine games. Shattler was the NLL MVP in 2011 and will look to prove his worth in this year’s Mann Cup.
Matt Vinc – Victoria Shamrocks – Rochester Knighthawks
This St. Catharine’s, ON high school teacher led the Knighthawks to a NLL Championship the last two seasons and will look to bring the same quality of play and leadership in this years’ Mann Cup. Vinc has a 8-2 record with a stellar 6.81 GAA. He will be the key in slowing down the dominant offensive threats on the Six Nations roster.
Rhys Duch – Victoria Shamrocks – Vancouver Stealth
Rhys Duch is a big game performer and there is no bigger a stage in Summer box lacrosse then the Mann Cup. Duch scored 28 points (12G, 16A) in nine games thus far for the Shamrocks. He will need to find a way to break through the tough defense of the Chiefs and capitalize on every opportunity to help the Shamrocks win a Mann Cup.
Colin Doyle – Six Nations Chiefs – Toronto Rock
This savvy veteran knows what it takes to win in high pressure situations. His track record of six NLL Championships and five Mann Cups proves that. Doyle has potted 12 goals and 23 assists for 35 points this post season. His leadership skills on and off the floor will be valuable in the next two weeks.
