In Lacrosse We Trust ™ in conjunction with The Lacrosse Radio Network and MLL Radio is pleased to announce the addition of the #8 Harvard University vs #19 Boston University lacrosse game on March 22nd to its broadcast schedule.
In Lacrosse We Trust, a premier lacrosse news and digital content outlet, previously broadcasted NCAA games during the 2013 and 2014 college lacrosse seasons, but this will be the first broadcast for a New England team to air on the network as a part of a New England lacrosse showcase.
Powered by MLL Radio, the broadcast will feature interviews with the coaches and players of the teams along with a pre-game show before the game from historic Harvard Stadium in Boston, Massachusetts. The broadcast will be produced by MLL Radio and streamed on its channel through the TuneIn app.
On the call will be two Boston University student broadcasters, including In Lacrosse We Trust manager Marisa Ingemi on play by play. Ingemi is the color commentator of Boston University men’s and women’s lacrosse on the Patriot League Network and covers the team for various outlets, and a lacrosse play by play announcer for MIT.
On the call as color commentator will be James Mattone, a broadcaster of MIT and BU sports who has broadcasted on the Patriot League Network, and a writer for Boston University’s Daily Free Press.
Boston University is ranked for the second time in program history following a double overtime victory over conference rival Navy, while Harvard is ranked 8th in the country and has won its first three contests of the season in overtime before the Crimson defeated the then #4 team in the nation, Duke, this weekend. Both teams will interrupt their conference schedules in a crosstown battle between two of the best up and coming teams in the nation.
Game time is scheduled for 7 p.m. from Harvard Stadium and the broadcast will go live at 6:45 p.m. It can be heard directly on InLacrosseWeTrust.com and Tunein.com/MLLRadio.
