It’s the second week of the InLax Lacrosse League with even more action than ever in the ultimate fantasy lacrosse team. What games are slated for week two? Let’s take a glance.
Minnesota Marauders (1-0) @ Pittsburgh Cavaliers (0-1)
Last week, Minnesota found a huge, one goal win over division rival Detroit Redhawks. Meanwhile, the Cavs fell to Washington in an inter league game. In the same division, this is vital for the Marauders to start out good against division opponents for tiebreakers.
Portland Lightning (0-1) @ Vancouver Vikings (0-1)
Another very important divisional game. Vancouver had a tough loss to Seattle last week and do not want to be 0-2 against their division. Portland fell at Hartford, and they continue their road trip, this time heading north to Vancouver.
Albany Colonials (0-1) @ Toronto Metros (1-0)
Toronto is at home for the second week in a row after they defeated Rochester in week one. Albany fell 19-7 to Tampa Bay last week, and have a hard pressed battle against a strong Toronto team on the road.
Detroit Redhawks (0-1) @ Dallas Dingoes (0-1)
Dallas fell to Edmonton last week and Detroit to Minnesota. Both were rough one goal games, and both of these teams want to prove that they were just that, one goal losses, and they can win games.
Philadelphia Falcons (1-0) @ Edmonton Lynx (1-0)
The Falcons had a great game against the Denver Rangers last week while Edmonton defeated division rival Dallas. Edmonton had a one goal win while Philadelphia blew out Denver by eight.
Baltimore Sharks (1-0) @ Buffalo Stags (1-0)
The Stags play their first home game after defeating the Blue Jays by one goal in Boston last week. Baltimore picked up a win in Charlotte, and the American Division foes now face off as division leaders.
Rochester Chargers (0-1) @ Tampa Bay Snipers (1-0)
Tampa Bay had the biggest win of all last week, winning by twelve and scoring nineteen goals against Albany. They face Albany’s division mate, the Rochester Chargers this week. Rochester is on the road the second week in a row against a hard opponent.
Quebec City Renard (0-1) @ Washington Whirlpool (1-0)
The Whirlpool held Pittsburgh to eight goals last week, the second least amount in the league. Now they host Quebec City, who had an overtime loss last week to Montreal.
Hartford Vipers (1-0) @ Charlotte Cougars (0-1)
The Vipers picked up a good home win against inter league foe Portland last week, and now they travel to Charlotte to face the Cougars. Last week, Charlotte fell to division rival Baltimore.
Seattle Serpents (1-0) @ Boston Blue Jays (0-1)
Seattle defeated the Portland Lightning last week while Boston fell at home to the Buffalo Stags. The division opponent defeated them on a late fourth quarter goal.
Winnipeg Prairie Dogs (0-1) @ Montreal Monarques (1-0)
Winnipeg took a hard loss to the Calgary Flyers last week, but Montreal had the exact opposite. They defeated the Quebec City Renard in double overtime for the game of the week.
Calgary Flyers (1-0) @ Chicago Hitmen (0-0)
Chicago has not seen any action yet, being off in week one, but now they host a division rival almost immediately. They face the Flyers, who defeated Winnipeg last week.
