This weekend the Brampton Inferno (3-2) face off against the Iroquois Ironmen (0-3). Preece was stellar in net for the inferno as he made 52 saves in the game and helped preserve the Inferno win.
The Ironmen need to also pressure Preece while Preece was stellar last game he has been shaky at times this year and can be beat. If the Ironmen can spread the ball around and open up the floor they will be able to beat Preece and win the game.
For the Inferno in this game they need to run a fast paced offense. Brampton’s offense thrives when they can play a run and gun style as they have the speed to beat most teams in transition. Brampton needs to avoid getting pulled into a defensive battle and try to stretch the field. If Brampton is able to play up tempo they will be able to beat the Ironmen defense and score on Jeff Powless who has been solid all year but has been on the losing side of some close games.
In the end I think the Ironmen get a win here as their defense will step up and grind out the Inferno.
