So last week with our loss to the Rochester Rattlers, we are officially out of playoff contention, but sometimes that’s what it takes for you to realize the privileges you have.
When I attended Syracuse, the Senior class I was a part of lost a total of 8 games in 4 years. In my brief career in the MLL I have lost 18 games. Its so crazy how things can change so drastically from one level to another but that’s life for you. Its difficult from time to time to think of all the moments that made my class so great and how we were able to be so close.
I feel like sometimes there are some things you must go through that are out of your control. I haven’t been on the losing end this much ever, but I guess there’s a lesson to be learned in all difficult situations. In a case like this, it is good time to re-evaluate what’s important in one’s life.
At least I’m not injured, depressed, or in a bad light with my family. These things can get away from you without paying the proper attention to them. In all things stay thankful and be fortunate for your opportunity even if it includes an unfamiliar feeling.
