The Rochester Knighthawks will open their Training Camp on Saturday, November 23rd at the new state-of-the-art Unity Health System Total Sports Experience (TSE) in East Rochester. The back-to-back National Lacrosse League Champions will hold their first weekend of camp at the new West Commercial Street location.
“We are excited to enter the 2014 season, and as two-time defending champions we know the rest of the league will have extra motivation each time they play us this year,” said Knighthawks President Lewis Staats. “Next month, we will begin our preparation for the upcoming season at the new Total Sports Experience. We look forward to practicing at the new facility, while supporting a longtime sponsor.”
The Knighthawks will begin their quest to become the first team in NLL history to win three straight championships on Saturday, November 23rd from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. The second practice is slated for Sunday, November 24th from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. Knighthawks Training Camp is one of the first events scheduled for the second Unity Health System Total Sports Experience location.
“We are happy to have the Knighthawks be one of the first groups to help us open our new facility on the east side of town,” said TSE General Manager Jamie Hammond.
The Knighthawks will open their preseason schedule on Saturday, December 7th against the Minnesota Swarm. The 8:00 p.m. contest is a preview of opening night.
