The Rochester Knighthawks have had a busy off season with long term deals, and this week they signed defenseman Paul Dawson for four years.
Last week the Knighthawks signed Craig Point for seven years, Dylan Evans for three and Jimmy Purves for two years. This week, they signed Dawson for four years. His brother, Dan Dawson, signed for seven years two weeks ago.
In his first season with Rochester last season, Dawson played in all 16 games and scored one goal. He had 34 penalty minutes while picking up 38 loose balls. He also won his first NLL Champions Cup with the Knighthawks after having been traded from Philadelphia in the off season.
It has been a very busy off season for the defending champion Knighthawks, but it may have been an even busier off season for Dawson, who did this.
Meanwhile, the Knighthawks made a few more minor moves, signing Cody McLeod for a year along with Matt Hummell and Zac Reid.
