League Leaders Following First Full NLL Week

We’ve had one complete week and five games on the NLL season. It’s too early on in the season to predict trends or outcomes, but here’s a look at the early league leaders.

Leading in points, we have Adam Jones of the Colorado Mammoth and Garrett Billings of the Toronto Rock.   Each has 10 points thus far. Jones’s points come from 7 goals and 3 assists where Billings has 9 assists and 1 goal. Goal leaders are Adam Jones with 7 and Jordan Hall of the Philadelphia Wings and Stephan Leblanc of the Toronto Rock with 5. Leading in assists, Garrett Billings has 9. Shawn Evans of the Calgary Roughnecks and Alex Gajic of the Vancouver Stealth both have 7 assists.

Leading in faceoff wins with 34 is Bob Snider of the Colorado Mammoth. Coming in behind him with 19 wins is CJ Costabile of the Philadelphia Wings. Adam Jones has 21 shots on goal for the lead there, followed closely by Kevin Crowley from the Philadelphia Wings with 18. Adam Jones leads the way with 6 forced turnovers while Bob Snider has 5. Cory Conway of the Edmonton Rush, Crowley, Toronto’s Colin Doyle, and Calgary’s Dane Dobbie all lead with 2 power play goals. The Stealth’s Kyle Sorensen tops the penalty minute chart with 15.

Goalies with 1 win head up the leaderboard for that stat, and include rookie Dillon Ward of the Colorado Mammoth, the Philadelphia Wings’s Evan Kirk, Matt Vinc of the Knighthawks, Toronto’s Nick Rose, and the Rush’s Aaron Bold. Matt Vinc and Calagary’s Mike Poulin are tied for the lead in saves with 45.
