Major League Lacrosse saw one big blockbuster today with Stephen Berger going to Boston, but the day was also littered with minor moves. The Charlote Hounds made two moves, first sending Josh Amidon to the Hamilton Nationals for rookie midfielder Josh Hawkins. The Hounds also give up a 2015 first round draft pick for the collegiate draft.
Next, the Hounds sent attack man Max Van Bourgondien and defenseman Dan DiMaria to the New York Lizards for a 2015 fifth round supplemental draft pick.
Lastly, the Ohio Machine picked up midfielder Gerry Reilly from the Hounds in return for a 2014 fifth round supplemental draft pick. Yesterday the Cannons added Ricky Pages from the Hounds as well, creating a very active deadline day for Charlotte.
The New York Lizards shipped the recently acquired Matt Dolente to the Chesapeake Bayhawks. They had acquired Dolenete from the Hamilton Nationals earlier last week.
