Major League Lacrosse, the premier professional outdoor lacrosse league, announced today the ESPN3 schedule for the 2015 season. ESPN3 will deliver all 56 regular season games this year, including 28 games that are exclusively available on ESPN3.
“It was important to us to have all of our regular season games streamed on one platform. Working with ESPN3 will make it simpler for fans who want to watch great MLL action on their digital device,” said MLL Commissioner David Gross.
The network will feature several high profile contests this season with the 2015 MLL season beginning on Sunday, April 12 featuring 2014 Champions Denver Outlaws visiting the Boston Cannons, The Rochester Rattlers traveling to Charlotte and the Ohio Machine visiting New York. The Florida Launch and Chesapeake Bayhawks will have a bye on opening weekend and will face each other in Week 2 on Sunday, April 19. All of the eight teams (Boston Cannons, Charlotte Hounds, Chesapeake Bayhawks, Denver Outlaws, New York Lizards, Ohio Machine, Rochester Rattlers and Florida Launch) will play each other twice for a balanced season of 56 games over 15 weeks. A host of local commentators will provide play-by-play and color commentary duties throughout the season.
